Kriti Sanon Sparks Collaboration Rumors with Aanand L Rai After Being Spotted at His Office | Watch

Though Kriti Sanon hasn’t announced her next, strong rumors suggest that she will star in Aanand L Rai’s next. Though nothing was actually announced, speculations were driven when Kriti visited the filmmaker’s office, and it has been said that Dhanush is going to play the lead in that movie. For the very first time in their careers so far, Kriti and Dhanush will be sharing the screen together, and this has created a spark among their fans.

A video doing the rounds on social media by Snehzala captured Kriti leaving Rai’s office, giving further ammo to speculations about the reported project. The actress waved at the paparazzi as she got into her car upon exit. According to a report in Pinkvilla, the movie, tentatively titled Tere Ishk Mein, will be a musical scored by A.R. Rahman, with lyrics by Irshad Kamil.

A source close to Pinkvilla claimed, “A few months back, Kriti had a script narration from Aanand L Rai and expressed that she’s keen on being part of this action-packed love story. The character graph of Kriti impressed her the most in the film.” While she reportedly gave her consent over the phone, the final paperwork would be wrapped up in two weeks, informed the source. The source further revealed that Kriti met Rai in Andheri to further discuss the project.

The new film, like Rai’s Raanjhanaa, will also have another important character-a role equivalent to Abhay Deol in the former. The filmmakers are in talks with a few actors for the role, which shall be finalized soon. The shooting of Tere Ishk Mein is expected to start by October 2024 and shall hit screens sometime next year.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kriti is all set to star in the film, Do Patti, co-starring Kajol. Its teaser is out, showcasing a mysterious plot set in Manali. In the teaser, Kajol can be seen as a cop, while the narrative seems mysterious and thrilling around her. While Kriti appears to be playing a grey character, the curiosity quotient further increases. The film seems a murder mystery, though detailed information is kept under wrap. Patti promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
