The focus of Kartik Aaryan’s recent appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show was his romantic life. His co-star from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Vidya Balan, couldn’t help but make fun of Kartik by inquiring about his possible partner. In an attempt to join in the fun, Kapil and Vidya even asked Kartik’s mother if she knew the identity of the mystery woman. “What is her name?” Vidya teased Kartik. He was constantly on his phone in between takes during the session, she continued in a hilarious manner. I would try to get a clue by standing close to him, but all I could hear was “Me Too, Me Too.” Kartik clarified in jest, “Her name is Meetu.”
The fun questioning continued when Vidya asked Kartik, “Main poochu sawal, truth ke liye? Uska naam kya hai?” “Main keh rahi hun kis kis ka naam loge?” was Kartik’s mother’s amusing reply. The words “Ek ho toh bolo” left everyone speechless. When Vidya said, “Great, so he has opened all doors now,” she was hinting at Kartik’s single status in a previous interview. She joked that the only relationship advise she could give him was to “get into one and have one” when asked for advice.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has been causing a stir at the box office in the meantime. The movie, which also starred Madhuri Dixit and Truptii Dimri, was released during Diwali and competed with Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty. Kartik nevertheless had his biggest opening of his career, with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 grossing an astounding Rs 35.5 crore on its first day. The movie kept up its good pace, earning an additional Rs 36.50 crore on its second day, bringing its total domestic receipts to almost Rs 72 crore.
