Boney Kapoor Opens Up About Resentment Towards Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor’s Relationships: Exclusive Interview
The grapevine’s most popular subject of conjecture is undoubtedly the present Kapoor generation. When it comes to their dating lives, it’s sometimes for their movies—both won and lost—and other times it’s because of the attention their fashion choices have received. Like many of their peers, they have drawn the interest of fans and internet users who enjoy—and occasionally even fan—the rumors and debates around their romantic relationships.
A Little Birdie tells us that Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora managed to navigate the numerous ups and downs in their relationship since they allegedly started dating in 2018. During the final season of Koffee With Karan, Janhvi Kapoor acknowledged that she had truly reconnected with her former partner, Shikhar Pahariya. Rumors of a connection between Khushi Kapoor and her co-star Vedang Raina in The Archies were also addressed in the same episode. Conversely, Anshula Kapoor made her friendship with author Rohan Thakkar official on Instagram.
In an exclusive conversation, Boney Kapoor now claims that “thankfully,” he has never been the kind of father to discuss his kids’ dating decisions with them. It’s their private lives. I may express my opinions to them only once or twice in a conversation. However, compared to our generation, youngsters nowadays mature far more quickly. “You cannot force them to think like you or toe the line,” he informs us.
He goes on, “They have their minds,” expressing his belief in allowing his kids to be themselves and his trust in their gut feelings and choices. In contrast to earlier periods, the world has shrunk now. We spent our time learning about the workings of the planet. It’s simpler for them to develop independent viewpoints.
Though he’s getting ready for Maidaan to be released, the seasoned producer isn’t afraid to acknowledge that he hasn’t always approved of their partnerships. He states, “I’ve never had to drill something into their heads in a situation like this,” without naming names. That said, I have expressed my displeasure in a few instances in Arjun, Janhvi, and Khushi’s relationships, but I have requested that they resolve the issue independently. It has consistently been that way.

His relationship with his children, Arjun and Anshula, was rocky following his divorce from his first wife, Mona Shourie Kapoor, and his subsequent marriage to the late Sridevi Kapoor, a film star. Nonetheless, the half-siblings reconciled once their disagreements were settled by Sridevi’s passing. Anshula, Arjun, Janhvi, and Khushi have developed into a strong team.
Ask the producer of Mr. India and No Entry about the same subject, and he responds, “This isn’t just a good thing, but the ultimate thing.” Together, we have been taking vacations. To celebrate Anshula’s birthday, we traveled to Singapore. Along with Janhvi, Khushi, and Anshula, I visited London once. Arjun spent two or three days there as well. Seeing them get along makes me happy. I feel as though the entire world is with me when they are all gathered around me.
