Kangana Ranaut on Kapoor Family Meeting PM Modi: Reveals She Has Requested an Audience Too

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the famous actor-director’s introduction to the world, the Kapoor family as of late met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and welcomed him to the Raj Kapoor Film Celebration. During an interview with Agenda Aaj Tak, entertainer Kangana Ranaut answered by offering her viewpoints and focusing on the meaning of PM Modi’s inclusion in the film business.

Kangana Reacts to Kapoor Family’s Meeting with PM Modi

Kangana said, “Our film industry needs guidance,” when asked what she thought of the meeting. Though neglected, it is a potent soft asset. These days, direction is essential, whether it comes from PM Modi or the Information and Broadcasting Ministry. Having worked in this field for 20 years, I consider it to be an orphanage. Without direction, the sector is vulnerable to outside forces, such as the “Palestinian agenda” or the “Jihadi agenda.” They are unsure of where to go.

Kangana on the Vulnerability of the Film Industry

Kangana emphasized Bollywood’s weaknesses by stating, “People in the industry are easily influenced.” They might be influenced by a small amount of money. Many of them have been victims of narcotics and hawala activities, and Dawood Ibrahim used to invite them to his parties. The sector is quite susceptible. Their encounter with PM Modi conveys a message that they are respected, noticed, and encouraged. Without these precautions, the film industry frequently thinks no one is looking and engages in dubious activities, such as performing at criminals’ parties in Dubai. She also underlined that the film sector should be acknowledged for its economic contribution on par with other major businesses. “We make a lot of money and make a lot of films, but we don’t get the same respect as other industries,” Kangana said.

Kangana Awaits a Meeting with PM Modi

“I haven’t had the valuable chance to meet PM Modi yet, yet I have mentioned a group of people and expect to get one soon,” Kangana said regarding her objectives.]

Upcoming Projects: Kangana’s ‘Emergency’

With significant roles played by Mahima Chaudhary, Anupam Kher, and Shreyas Talpade, the film is slated for release in theaters in 2025. The difficulties Bollywood faces and Kangana’s goal for a more independent and directed film business are both highlighted in her comments.
