Jennifer Lopez is now officially done with Ben Affleck, legally speaking, and as such, which marks the end of the ultimate celebrity couple. Lopez is pushing to have those names changed to have her conjugality thoroughly dissolved.

Now, Lopez is formally called Jennifer Lynn Affleck after their 2022 marriage and has filed a request with the courts to change it back to the way she was known before the marriage: Jennifer Lynn Lopez. The couple reportedly divorced due to irreconcilable differences, according to court documents obtained by TMZ and Us Weekly.

The papers also reveal that Lopez and Affleck don’t want any spousal support. They will divide their property and debt as per the legal papers. But exactly who had what was to be determined and was pending to be heard.

About the time the two were living apart, Lopez and Affleck were not living in parallel, Elle magazine finds. While Affleck hung out most of the summer on the West Coast, Lopez recovered in the Hamptons.

In fact, just a few days after the official separation, on April 26, the singer was already in a house hunt alone. By July, Affleck had bought a new house in Los Angeles, People said.

Their sparse public appearances were yet more grist for gossip that the end was near. The jaw-dropping missing addition happened to be Affleck skipping the blowout bash for Lopez’s 55th in the Hamptons, themed very Bridgerton—a wild confirmation of their separation.

One source close to Lopez told People, “She tried really hard to make things work and is heartbroken.

However, both Lopez and Affleck have been able to keep their children as their top priority, reveals the source. The couple, who first began dating in 2002 even got engaged before calling in off in 2004, rekindled their romance in 2021 and even tied the knot back in February 2022 but has again this year filed for divorce.
