Kis Muh Se…”: Jayant Chaudhary Drops Major Alliance Hint After Bharat Ratna to Charan Singh
The leader of the Rashtriya Lok Dal, Jayant Chaudhary, claimed on Friday that he had switched to the Centre after the government gave his grandpa, the late prime minister Chaudhary Charan Singh, the Bharat Ratna. The highest civilian accolade in India, the Bharat Ratna, will be given to famous agricultural scientist M S Swaminathan, as announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, P V Narasimha Rao, and Chaudhary Charan Singh.
“PM Modi’s vision has accomplished what past governments were unable to accomplish until today. The RLD president was all love for PM Modi, saying, “I would like to once again express my gratitude to PM Modi’s govt for encouraging the people who aren’t part of the mainstream.” When questioned about his readiness to work with the BJP-NDA, Jayant Chaudhary, the leader of the RLD, responds, “Koi kasar rehti hai? Aaj main kis muh se aapke sawalon ko inkaar karoon.”
Rumours of RLD joining NDA
Jayant Chaudhary is reportedly likely to join the BJP instead of the Samajwadi Party alliance concurrently, according to credible reports. Answering a query on Thursday about a potential partnership between the BJP and RLD, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav said that the BJP is adept at splitting parties and knowing who to attract when. Additionally, he charged that the ruling party was abusing income tax, the CBI, and the ED.
“BJP is aware of who to take when. It is also capable of deceit. You witnessed instances of dishonesty in Chandigarh. BJP also understands who to buy from when. Not just that, but it has grown to be the biggest party, the head of the SP stated.”BJP is aware of when and how to act. It is aware of the best times and locations to send the ED and CBI, carry out income tax searches, and identify who journalists should be silenced “added the speaker. Yadav continued, “BJP knows how to break parties.”
Uttar Pradesh deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak responded to a question concerning the alleged closeness between the RLD and BJP by saying, “There are always possibilities in politics and BJP is a party working with dedication towards Bharat Mata.” It is with the people who are backing Uttar Pradesh’s overall growth. Everyone is cordially welcomed.

RLD and SP already in alliance for the Lok Sabha polls
The RLD secured seven seats in western Uttar Pradesh when it declared its alliance with the SP for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections on January 19. The Jat community is the main source of support for RLD, and it is anticipated that it would run in seats like Muzaffarnagar, Kairana, Bijnor, Mathura, Baghpat, Amroha, and Meerut where there is a sizable Jat population. In the 2022 assembly elections, both parties formed an alliance, resulting in the RLD gaining eight seats and the SP obtaining 111 seats. As a member of the SP-BSP coalition, the RLD ran for three seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections—Mathura, Baghpat, and Muzaffarnagar—but lost all of them.
