IPL 2024: Shimron Hetmyer Fined for Breaching IPL Code of Conduct in Qualifier 2 vs SRH
As per the IPL Code of Conduct, Shimron Hetmyer was found guilty of a Level 1 infraction. 10% of his match fees were punished after he acknowledged the offense.
In the IPL 2024 Qualifier 2 match on Friday, Sunrisers Hyderabad left-arm spinner Abhishek Sharma excused Rajasthan Royals batsman Shimron Hetmyer for crushing the wickets. The BCCI reprimanded Hetmyer for his activities. According to the IPL Implicit set of rules, Hetmyer was found guilty for a Level 1 infraction. In the wake of confessing to the offense, he was punished 10% of his match charges.
“Shimron Hetmyer of the Rajasthan Royals has been fined 10% of his match charges for infiltrating the IPL Implicit set of rules during the Qualifier 2 of the IPL 2024 against Sunrisers Hyderabad,” BCCI said.
The assent was forced by previous India pacer and match ref of the subsequent Qualifier, Javagal Srinath. “Hetmyer committed a Level 1 offense under Article 2.2 of the IPL Set of rules. He confessed to the offense and acknowledged the Match Ref’s assent. For Level 1 breaks of the Set of rules, the Match Arbitrator’s choice is conclusive and restricting,” BCCI said.
Shimron Hetmyer’s Dismissal Drama in IPL 2024 Qualifier 2 vs SRH
