Matthew Wade, a wicketkeeper-batter, will miss at least the first two games of the Gujarat Titans’ IPL 2024 campaign because he played in Tasmania’s Sheffield Shield final on March 21–25. This season’s IPL is scheduled to begin on March 22. Wade is unable to play in the Titans’ opening game against the Mumbai Indians on March 25 or their second game against the finalists from the previous season, the Chennai Super Kings, on March 27.
