Hardik Pandya Unfazed by Media Reports, Prefers Not to Comment

Since suffering an ankle injury in October of last year during India’s group-stage match against Bangladesh at the 2023 ODI World Cup, Hardik Pandya has been sidelined. Fans have greatly missed him as a vital member of India’s lineup. In preparation for the 2024 Indian Premier League, Pandya recently returned and is playing in the DY Patil T20 Cup. After being traded from the Gujarat Titans to the Mumbai Indians last year, he also took on Rohit Sharma’s role as captain there. The all-arounder met YouTube streamer UK 07 Rider and took part in his chat show during a rare public visit. The 30-year-old disclosed details about his private life, including his preference to stay inside as opposed to going outside.

“My fans are unaware of the fact that I don’t go out. I’m a homebody. In the past three to four years, I have not gone out very often; the only times I have been out are when something with my friends has forced me to go. I prefer to remain indoors. I once went for fifty days without leaving my house. He remarked, “I didn’t even see the home elevator.” “I have a home theater and gym. My home is filled with the things I enjoy.” A recent social media sensation was a picture of Pandya driving a supercar. He disclosed that he received the vehicle for a test drive in a comment on the picture. He further stated, “Main kabhi media mein comment karta nahi hu, to maine kabhi kia nahi, na mereko fadak padta hai (I don’t comment in media; I have never done it; it does not bother me).”

Pandya’s injury prevented him from playing in the matches against Afghanistan, the South Africa tour, and the home series against Australia. Pandya has been following the return-to-fitness regimen that the NCA made for him while training in Baroda for the past month. Practice matches were held at the NCA with Rishabh Pant, who will also return after being injured in a car accident in December 2022
