Happy Birthday Amitabh Bachchan: When a Police Officer Caught Big B Driving Under the Influence of Bhang

Today is Amitabh Bachchan’s 82nd birthday, and the iconic actor is receiving love and well wishes from admirers worldwide. In exchange, Big B has prepared a birthday special Kaun Banega Crorepati episode where he would host Aamir Khan as a special surprise for his followers. The much-awaited episode is scheduled to premiere on Friday.

Already, there have been rumors circulating about clips from the next episode. In a humorous story from his youth, Amitabh disclosed in a promo that was made public the night before his birthday. The actor talked about how he and his pals used to have some papad infused with bhang at a special Holi celebration. Following the celebrations, they decided to see a movie. When a policeman pulled him over, Amitabh assumed the wheel and thought he was driving smoothly.

The officer said, “Gaadi gear mein toh daalo” (Put the car in gear), pointing out that the vehicle hadn’t moved at all. Amitabh laughed as he recalled telling the police about their movie intentions. Instagram users posted a video of the hilarious incident, and followers adore this glimpse into Amitabh’s playful side.

Amitabh Bachchan has not revealed any details on his birthday celebrations this year, although the previous year he celebrated turning 81 years old with his grandchildren, Navya Naveli Nanda, Agastya Nanda, and Aaradhya Bachchan, as well as family members Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan, and Aishwarya Rai.

In terms of his career, Amitabh last appeared with Rajinikanth in the Tamil film Vettaiyan, a reunion that lasted three decades.
