Hailey Bieber Addresses Divorce Rumors and Public Speculation Before Pregnancy Announcement
Model Hailey Bieber is thinking back on her union with her husband, the artist Justin Bieber. She attempted to seem as though it didn’t upset her, but in a recent interview with W magazine, she said that the criticism of her relationship with the Canadian popstar “hurt.”
‘It’s like people don’t want to believe that we’re happy’
She remarked, “Since the beginning of our relationship, people have made me feel so horrible about it. “Oh my, they’re crumbling.” They are hostile against one another. Their divorce is imminent. People seem unable to accept that we are content. I tried to pretend it hurt less and less in the past. I’ve made an effort to believe that at some time you become used to it and that this is how people are going to be and what will be said. However, I understand that the pain never truly goes away.
‘I probably could have hid pregnancy until the end’
The couple was reportedly going through “difficult times” earlier this year. In May, Hailey and Justin announced that they were expecting their first child together and had reaffirmed their vows. Additionally, Hailey has recently disclosed that her initial choice to conceal her pregnancy from the world for six months was motivated by her desire for solitude as well as her perceived “small” size.

Hailey stated, “Honestly, I was able to keep it quiet for a very long time because I stayed small.” Really, until I made the announcement that I was six months pregnant, I didn’t even have a tummy. I was allowed to wear bulky coats and other items. At the very end, I could have probably hid it. But the tension of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy on the outside wasn’t something I enjoyed. It wasn’t nice to feel like I was keeping this huge secret. I desired to be free to go out and lead a normal life.
