On Wednesday, May 29, in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, two youths were killed and a lady was injured after being struck by a car that was purportedly part of the BJP candidate’s cavalcade from Kaiserganj, Karan Bhushan Singh, the younger son of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, according to police. The current Member of Parliament for Kaiserganj, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh was the head of the Wrestling Federation of India before. It’s unclear, though, if Brij Bhushan or Karan Bhushan Singh was in the convoy.
SHO at Kernalganj Rehan Khan, 17, and his motorcycle-riding cousin Shehzad Khan, 20, were struck by a car close to a school, according to Nirbhay Narayan Singh. Sita Devi, a 60-year-old woman who was hurt, has been admitted to the hospital, and police officers have been stationed nearby to maintain law and order. According to the SHO and news agency , the SUV that struck the two lost control. Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh’s school institution is the registered owner of the SUV, UP32HW1800.
Lavkush Srivastava, the driver of the SUV, was taken into custody by the police, according to a report. In order to comprehend the chronology of events, Gonda’s additional superintendent of police, Radhey Shyam Rai, stated they were recording the driver’s statement, the article continued. Four vehicles in Karan Singh’s convoy were reportedly going through Karnalganj on Wednesday morning, according to an IE story that cited another police source and stated that a preliminary investigation had shown. A train went by, and while three cars crossed the railroad crossing, the fourth car—which would later be involved in an accident—stayed behind.

The driver of the fourth car apparently accelerated to keep up with the other cars after the train passed. Near a gas station, the SUV and a motorcycle collided from the opposite direction, it continued. The driver allegedly swerved to avoid an elderly woman crossing the road; police are looking into these claims. The woman went unconscious, according to the officers, after seeing the occurrence.
