IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw Collaborates with Microsoft to Resolve Global Outage
The global outage that has affected airplanes, supermarkets, banking activities, the stock market, and many other areas of the world is being resolved by the government, according to IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. In addition, the minister stated that fixes have been issued to address the problem and that the cause of the outage has been “identified.” There are technical problems affecting booking, check-in, and flight updates on Vistara, IndiGo, SpiceJet, and Akasa Air in India. According to the airlines, travelers are currently being checked in manually.
MEITY is in contact with Microsoft and its colleagues on the global outage, according to Ashwini Vaishnaw’s announcement on X, formerly Twitter. Updates have been made available to address the issue after the cause of the outage was found. A technical advisory has been released by CERT.” The minister further stated, “The NIC network is not affected,” referring to the information and communication technology (ICT) network of the National Informatics Centre (NIC), which serves the federal government, state governments, union territories, districts, and other governmental bodies.
A statement about the current issue affecting their systems was released by Indian Airlines in the meantime. A spokeswoman for Akasa Airlines said, “Some of our online services, including booking, check-in, and managing booking services, will be temporarily unavailable due to infrastructure issues with our service provider.” We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may have caused, and our teams are working with our service provider to quickly find a solution.
