Meet Robin Minz’s father, a security official at Ranchi Airport, who GT Captain Gill was “honored” to see

Shubman Gill, who will be driving the Gujarat Titans within the imminent season of the Indian Chief Association (IPL), played a match-winning knock in Ranchi to help India win the 4th Test against Britain and take an unassailable 3-1 lead.

As Group India was clearing out the capital city of Jharkhand, Gill caught up with Francis Minz, father of wicketkeeper-batter Robin Minz, at the Ranchi Airport. Robin, who is affectionately known as ‘Ranchi ka Gayle’, was picked up by the Gujarat Titans within the smaller-than-expected players’ sell-off for a whopping sum of Rs 3.6 crore.
