Officials said that five Army personnel are believed to have drowned after being carried away in a T-72 tank along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the Nyoma-Chushul district of Ladakh early on Saturday.
Early on Saturday morning, officials in the Nyoma-Chushul area of Ladakh said that five Army personnel are believed to have drowned after being washed away in a T-72 tank while crossing a river close to the Line of Actual Control (LAC). The T-72 tank, which had five soldiers on board, sank due to flash floods while crossing the river, officials added.
