Bigg Boss Winner Elvish Yadav Faces Controversy: Alleged Assault on YouTuber Maxtern After Social Media Clash

Elvish Yadav, a social media influencer and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner, has found himself in a scandal following the release of a video on social media that purportedly shows him and his allies knocking up a YouTuber in Gurugram. After a social media altercation, Sagar Thakur, a YouTuber who goes by the handle Maxtern, posted a video in which he claimed to have been battered by Elvish Yadav and his supporters. Additionally, a widely shared video showed Maxtern being assaulted inside a clothes store by Elvish Yadav.

Sagar Thakur posted on X about Elvish warming up for fellow Bigg Boss winner Munawar Faruqui in a cricket match, which sparked the social media dispute. On March 7, Elvish and Munawar participated in the Indian Street Premier League’s inaugural game alongside Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar. A vocal proponent of Hinduism, Elvish Yadav, faced backlash from his supporters for associating with Munawar, who was arrested in 2021 on charges of making “indecent” comments about Hindu deities.

Additionally, Sagar Thakur made fun of Elvish by calling him a “hypocrite.” Elvish Yadav posted in response to one of Maxtern’s messages, saying, “Bhai tu delhi hi rehta hai socha yad dila du (Brother, let me remind you that you live in Delhi).” After the online altercation, Sagar Thakur posted a screenshot of what appeared to be a conversation he had with Elvish Yadav, in which they had decided to meet on March 8 at 12.30 a.m. in Gurugram. In addition, the YouTuber posted recordings of him traveling to Gurugram.

In a video that he posted at two in the morning, Sagar Thakur said that Elvish and his goons had physically assaulted him and threatened to kill him. “Elvish arrived with eight or ten soldiers, but I went there by myself. They assaulted me. I will share the incident on tape first thing in the morning. “I’m fine, but I have a cut on my lip,” Sagar Thakur stated in the footage. A few hours later, a video purporting to show Elvish Yadav and his supporters beating Sagar Thakur inside a clothes store went viral on social media.

ELVISH YADAV CONTROVERSIES

Elvish Yadav has previously made headlines for all the wrong reasons. Following the discovery of snakes and snake venom at a dance party in Noida in November of last year, the influencer gained national attention. Elvish Yadav’s name surfaced among the five individuals the police detained for questioning. Along with the other five defendants, Elvish Yadav was identified by the police in their FIR. Rahul (32), Teetunath (45), Jaikaran (50), Narayan (50), and Ravinath (45), who all dwell in Moharband hamlet in Badarpur, southeast Delhi, are the other accused.

The accusations made against Elvish Yadav were rejected by him, as he described them as “baseless” and “not even one percent true.” However, Elvish Yadav claimed that singer Fazilpuria gave the snakes to the Noida party when he was questioned by the police. On social media, a video of Elvish handling snakes went viral as well. Subsequently, Fazilpuria claimed that the video was not from the party but rather from his time spent recording an album.
