Diljit Dosanjh Apologizes for Fake Ticket Scam in Dil-Luminati Tour, Urges Fans to Stay Cautious
Finally, Diljit Dosanjh has addressed the fraudulent ticketing scheme involving his Dil-Luminati India Tour. During his Saturday night concert at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC) in Sitapura, Jaipur, the singer apologized for the problem. Fans who fell for the fraud received his apology, but he made it clear that neither he nor his crew were at fault.
After two performances in Delhi, Diljit addressed the crowd at the third show of his India trip and apologized to everyone who had been harmed by a ticket scam. This is not our responsibility. Authorities are investigating the situation. To prevent becoming victims of such scams, he advised fans to buy tickets exclusively from ZomatoLive, the authorized seller.
Diljit added that his team didn’t know about the scheme at first. “Even we were unaware that our tickets were sold out so quickly,” he said. One concertgoer attested to the singer’s sincere regret for the incident. Officially, Saregama Live and Ripple Effects Studios are producing the tour.

The Fake Ticket Scam
Following Diljit’s performances at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, where multiple fans claimed to have been duped by phony ticket vendors, the scandal was first made public. Despite paying outrageous fees for fake tickets, several disgruntled fans were turned away. Although the organizers had previously cautioned against buying tickets from unapproved vendors, instances of hoarding and reselling continued. The local police warned spectators about phony tickets in an advisory released prior to the Jaipur show. A number of concertgoers continued to report problems with fraudulent ticket sales in spite of the warnings.
