Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi hosted the second performance of Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati India Tour on Sunday. The following day, the celebrity reflected on his journey and thanked followers for their love and support while posting a video from the event to Instagram.
Diljit’s Connection with Fans
Diljit spoke to the audience in Punjabi in the video, stating, “My mother spoke Punjabi when I was born. I learned it as my first language. Whether it’s Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, or Hindi, I appreciate every one of the numerous beautiful dialects spoken in our country. However, I speak Punjabi since my mother does. I say “Punjabi Aa Gaye Delhi Oye” for this reason. The crowd shouted and joined in when he sang “Main Hoon Panjab” from his most recent movie, Amar Singh Chamkila.
Diljit Shares Performance Highlights
Diljit proudly draped the National Flag over his shoulders while wearing black clothing in an emotional social media post. He captioned the video with “Delhi Day 2 ONE LOVE DIL-LUMINATI TOUR Year 24. ” Ayushmann Khurrana, an actor and admirer of Diljit’s work, communicated his appreciation by responding with heart and fire emojis.
Diljit’s Power-Packed Setlist in Delhi
At Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Sunday night, Diljit wowed an audience of almost 40,000 people with a two-hour performance that included hits like 5 Taara, Do You Know, GOAT, Proper Patola, Hass Hass, Lemonade, Kinni Kinni, Naina, Ikk Kudi, Clash, Lover, Khutti, and Patiala Peg. He began the performance with Born to Shine and immediately energized the crowd, sporting his trademark white dhoti-kurta, turban, and Aviator sunglasses.
An Inspiring Message for Fans
The audience responded well to Diljit’s stirring speech to his admirers: “I want you all to dream big.” Please dream as large as you can. We were created to realize our aspirations. You can do anything if I can force others to speak Punjabi. Applause greeted his remarks, which encouraged his admirers to pursue their passions.

Dil-Luminati Tour Highlights
On Saturday, Diljit kicked off the India leg of his Dil-Luminati Tour 2024, which has already seen success in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, and the Netherlands. He will visit nine additional Indian cities after Delhi, including Jaipur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, and Kolkata. The grand finale is scheduled for December 29 in Guwahati.
