Devara Part 1 Box Office: Jr NTR Starrer Becomes World’s 2nd Highest Grossing Film, Surpasses Transformers

Not just in India but all throughout the world, Devara Part 1 has had a phenomenal opening at the box office. Leading the way are Jr. NTR and Saif Ali Khan in this action-packed movie, which boasts one of the largest opening days in Indian cinema history. It was directed by Koratala Siva. The movie came in second place among all movies that made the most money worldwide over the weekend, according to Comscore.

Devara Part 1 Box Office Worldwide Collections

Devara Part 1, which debuted in theaters on September 27, made an astounding ₹172 crore in its first day of global sales. The movie maintained its pace over the weekend, earning $32.93 million (₹275 crore) worldwide, according to Comscore. With this performance, the movie comes in second on the worldwide box office chart, behind only The Wild Robot ($44 million), and ahead of Hollywood productions like Transformers One ($25 million) and Beetlejuice ($29 million). It’s noteworthy that, in contrast to Devara, which benefited from a big premiere, these movies weren’t in their first weekends of release.

Devara’s Strong Domestic Box Office Performance

Devara has also been a domestic success, even though box office figures can fluctuate because of India’s patchy tracking system. Industry trackers like Sacnilk and Comscore offer more modest projections, despite the film’s makers projecting it will top₹300 crore worldwide and₹200 crore in India. Sacnilk claims that the movie brought in ₹161 crore net throughout its first weekend in India, and on Sunday, it brought in ₹40 crore, a 5% increase. The start of the workweek and possible decline in collections will be the true test for Devara.
