Tragedy Strikes: 11 killed, 4 Injuries in Alipur Paint Factory Blaze – Delhi Fire
According to the news, which cited the fire department, a large fire that started at a paint and chemical godown in outer Delhi’s Alipur on Thursday night resulted in up to 11 fatalities and four injuries. Eleven people lost their lives, and four were injured in the paint and chemical godown fire. The fire department said that the four injured people were taken to Raja Harish Chandra Hospital, while the deceased were taken to Babu Jagjeevan Ram Hospital.
The Delhi Police said that the explosion that preceded the fire was most likely brought on by chemicals stored at the plant.

A few residences and shops close by caught fire as a result of the explosion. These locations were home to some of the injured, according to a report by the news agency. The news agency was informed by an unidentified Delhi Fire Services (DFS) officer that a call regarding the incident was received at 5:25 p.m. A minimum of twenty-two firefighters were called into action.

The fire official reported that the fire was contained by 9:00 p.m. and that the cooling-off process was in progress.
“The incident happened at approximately 5:30 p.m. After hearing an explosion, everyone gathered here; an eyewitness named Sumit Bharadwaj informed. We made several attempts to put out the fire. When the firefighting operation first arrived, about seven or eight fire tenders arrived on the scene.”
