Baby daughter Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have welcomed into their family! With a touching social media message on Sunday, the couple shared the happy news. All they said was, “Welcome, baby daughter. 8.09.2024. Ranveer and Deepika. Early this year, Deepika and Ranveer—who began dating on the Ram Leela sets in 2013 and got married in 2018—disclosed that they were expecting a child.

Deepika is said to be taking a maternity vacation that will last until March 2025. “Deepika and Ranveer are eagerly looking forward to this new chapter in their lives and are currently focused on setting up a space for their baby,” a source close to the couple disclosed. Deepika is currently savoring every second of her vacation from work.”

“Her maternity leave will end in March of next year, and she’ll immediately start filming the sequel to Kalki, alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Prabhas,” the source continued.

The pair is also getting ready to move to a new, opulent flat in Bandra that is close to Mannat, the famous home of Shah Rukh Khan. It was recently revealed by a widely shared video that the building’s construction is almost finished. Covering floors 16 through 19, this opulent, seafront quadruple-level apartment offers 11,266 square feet of living space plus an additional 1,300 square feet of private deck. The structure provides breathtaking views of the sea and the Bandstand promenade, and it is located not far from Shah Rukh Khan’s bungalow.

Deepika Padukone has been very busy at work lately, working on films like Fighter, Jawan, Pathaan, and Kalki 2898 AD. She will also be appearing in Singham Again, which is slated for release around Diwali. In the meantime, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Akshaye Khanna are among the ensemble cast members of Ranveer Singh’s next espionage thriller, which is being helmed by Aditya Dhar.
