After declaring his retirement from international cricket on August 15, 2020, the legendary Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni has not yet made his plans public. Dhoni is sixth on the list of top run scorers and has the most caps in IPL history. He was removed just three times while scoring 161 runs with an outstanding strike rate of 220.55 in 14 IPL 2024 matches. Ahead of the IPL 2025 big auction, CSK want to hold onto important players like captain Ruturaj Gaikwad, all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Shivam Dube, and bowler Matheesha Parthirana while the uncertainty surrounding Dhoni’s availability persists.
