Chris Hemsworth in Talks to Play Prince Charming in Disney’s New Movie Directed by Paul King

Chris Hemsworth, who is most known for playing Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is supposedly in discussions to play Prince Charming in Disney’s next film. While account points of interest are as yet being left hidden, Variety reports that it is as yet muddled assuming the film will be live-action or animated. Paul King, most popular for his work on Wonka, is assuming the job of chief for the film. King, Jon Croker, and Simon Farnaby will also co-write the screenplay.

Hemsworth has been working on several projects lately. He voiced Optimus Prime in Transformers One, an animated movie, and played the antagonist Dementus in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga earlier this year, costarring with Anya Taylor-Joy.

Hemsworth’s next project is the thriller Crime 101, which is being produced by Amazon MGM Studios. In addition to Hemsworth’s Avengers co-star Mark Ruffalo, the picture stars Halle Berry and Barry Keoghan. Based on a short tale by Don Winslow, Crime 101 centers on a string of unresolved jewelry thefts that occurred along the Pacific Coast Highway. While a resolute detective attempts to apprehend him, Hemsworth portrays a lone jewel thief plotting a final theft.

Meanwhile, Timothée Chalamet’s Wonka, which made $218 million at home and $634 million abroad, was recently hailed as a success by Prince Charming director Paul King. King is renowned for having directed the successful Paddington movies. Disney has not yet responded to Hemsworth’s selection to play Prince Charming.
