Chirag Paswan Calls Kangana Ranaut a ‘Strong Lady’ as They Reunite in Parliament

On Thursday, Chirag Paswan, the president of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), expressed his excitement over meeting actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut, with whom he had his acting debut in 2011. It is exciting for me to meet her. We got along well and worked together on a movie. Parliament is where we will be gathering. I think she’s a strong woman who speaks her mind clearly, and I’m excited to hear her speak in parliament, Paswan stated.

Thirteen years prior, in the movie “Mile Na Mile Hum,” Paswan, at forty-one, made his acting debut. In the movie, Ranaut played his opposite. Following the film’s underwhelming box office performance, Paswan entered the political arena. Chirag Paswan ran and won from Jamui, Bihar, in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. In the 2019 general elections, he kept his seat. Paswan ran as a candidate from Hajipur in the recently held elections, winning by 1,70,105 votes.

Vaishali, Hajipur, Samastipur, Khagaria, and Jamui are among the five seats that his party, LJP (RV), won. According to Paswan, his party is offering the NDA its full support in forming a government led by Narendra Modi. “During yesterday’s NDA meeting, we firmly accepted Narendra Modi as our leader. No condition can exist. The prime minister’s leadership has triumphed in this matter. The major win was guaranteed by how he led the NDA. The Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) Parliamentary Party meeting is scheduled for tomorrow at 9.30 AM. NDA leaders are expected to meet the President thereafter to provide a letter of support signed by all NDA parties, the statement said. Kangana Ranaut emerged victorious from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, surpassing her closest Congress opponent Vikramaditya Singh by a margin of 74,755 votes. The seat took part in the seventh phase of the Lok Sabha elections, along with four others.
