BJP’s Nishikant Dubey Accuses Rahul Gandhi of Hooliganism: ‘Gundagardi karte ho’

Rahul Gandhi was publically chastised by BJP MP Nishikant Dubey on Thursday for allegedly pushing BJP MP Pratap Sarangi during a demonstration inside the Parliament building. Sarangi is seen seated next to Dubey in the incident, which was caught on camera, with a noticeable injury on his forehead. Dubey accused Sarangi of wrongdoing when Rahul Gandhi went to see how he was doing. “You are not ashamed… Rahul, what? You engage in hooliganism, or gundagardi. Dubey said on tape, “You threw down an elderly person.”

However, Rahul Gandhi denied the accusations, saying that Sarangi had shoved him. Later, he claimed to the media that BJP lawmakers were preventing him from entering the Parliament. You may have this on your camera. Gandhi said, “BJP MPs were attempting to push me, stop me, and threaten me as I tried to enter through the Parliament entrance.” He went on to say, “This is about the BJP attacking the Constitution and insulting Ambedkar ji’s memory.”

Gandhi’s allegations were rejected by BJP leaders. Rahul Gandhi had plenty of room, but he also pushed Sambit Patra, said BJP MP Pralhad Joshi. It was unnecessary, and the CCTV film will reveal the truth. Mukesh Rajput, another BJP MP, was hurt in the altercation as well, according to Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal. Concerned by the situation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi personally called Sarangi and Rajput to check on their condition. Both parties have been exchanging allegations in the wake of the intense confrontation, which has increased tensions between the BJP and Congress.
