Hindus Forced to Pray in Private: BJP Accuses Mamata Banerjee Government of Being ‘Run by Rapists

On Wednesday, the Bharatiya Janata Party asserted that Mamata Banerjee engages in appeasement politics in West Bengal. The party attacked her over the Sandeshkhali controversy and asserted that Banerjee is a quiet witness to sexual violence against Hindu women and that Hindus are compelled to pray in private in Basirhat. In West Bengal, Hindus are required to worship in private in Basirhat and other locations. Mamata Banerjee has already changed the date and halted idol immersion during Durga Puja. This represents Mamata Banerjee’s shady politics. Later, during a brawl between BJP workers and police, he sustained injuries. His term for Banerjee’s administration was “government of rapists”. “It would not be incorrect to argue that West Bengal has evolved into a state where the government is controlled by the rapists themselves. Mamata Banerjee is offering support to the rapist, not to the victims,” Bhatia remarked. For the past few days, a number of women in Sandeshkhali, Bengal, have been staging protests. They claim that TMC leader Shajahan Sheikh and his associates have harassed them sexually. They want the leader to be taken into custody.
