Ben Affleck’s Friend Reveals Actor is ‘Happy to Be Free’ After Jennifer Lopez Divorce

A friend of Ben Affleck has finally spoken about how the actor has coped with life when divorce came about with Jennifer Lopez.

The couple, who got back together in 2021, have finally divorced after two years of marriage. According to Affleck’s good friend, “He’s happy. He’s free.” And regarding Lopez’s public appearances since the split, according to the friend, “Ben doesn’t care.”

He’s just so happy to be free now. She could wear all the revenge dresses in the world-or show up to the red carpet naked-and he wouldn’t bat an eye.

Meanwhile, sources say Lopez is focusing on career matters. “She really wants that Oscar—and to be taken seriously as an actress,” one insider in Lopez’s camp spilled to OK! Magazine.

Lopez filed divorce papers on their second wedding anniversary after a summer apart, skipping out on key dates like the Fourth of July and her 55th birthday.

Meanwhile, Lopez was celebrating in the Hamptons with friends; Affleck was shooting “The Accountant 2” in Los Angeles.

These are just some of the instances that show what an incredibly beautiful marriage they shared, yet it could not stand against the tests of time.

According to one insider, “She tried so hard to make things work, and it didn’t matter to Ben.” Lopez gave her whole heart and was ready to bear criticism and skepticism. She does believe that love can conquer all, although it didn’t work the first time.
