The divorce between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez appears to be cordial. Affleck recently voiced his happiness with his ex-wife’s involvement in his latest film, Unstoppable, while promoting his production, Small Things Like These. Affleck highlighted the same passion behind the scenes while talking about the differences between his two projects in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. Unstoppable, which stars Don Cheadle, Jharrel Jerome, Bobby Cannavale, and Lopez, is inspired by the amazing true story of wrestler Anthony Robles, who won the 2011 national title despite only having one leg at birth.

Affleck, the film’s producer and director, expressed his admiration for Lopez and the rest of the ensemble. “Jennifer is remarkable,” he said, praising the commitment of the performers. “Unstoppable is another example of our belief in the right people.” There is an additional element of emotional contemplation to the case because the August divorce filing date falls on the anniversary of their wedding ceremony in Riceboro, Georgia. Following rumors that the couple was living apart, Lopez filed for the divorce of their two-year marriage in Los Angeles. To prioritize her family, Lopez also called off her summer tour, and the couple put their Beverly Hills house up for sale.
