Despite acknowledging that Hardik’s situation was unique due to his protracted back injury struggles, which have prevented the all-rounder from playing in the red-ball format since 2018, the board official disclosed that other young players outright decline to take part in the Ranji Trophy. Since Hardik Pandya’s body is unable to withstand the demands of red ball cricket, we can understand his situation.
