Tiger Shroff to Start Filming Baaghi 4 This Year as Producers Search for New Director

The much awaited fourth edition of the Baaghi franchise features Tiger Shroff reprising his role as the rebellious protagonist. The show, which is returning after a four-year hiatus, is well-known for its violent action sequences and Shroff’s extraordinary martial arts skill. Baaghi 4 is in the works and is anticipated to start filming either later this year or early next year, a source close to the production told Mid-day. This timeline, however, is contingent upon the conclusion of Sikandar and Housefull 5, the other projects that producer Sajid Nadiadwala is working on. Sikandar is now in production, and Housefull 5 is set to begin production early next month.

A director for Baaghi 4 is still being sought after. Although Sabbir Khan and Ahmad Khan helmed the previous chapters, the producers are thinking of hiring a new director for the next picture. The casting procedure for the female lead will start as soon as a director has been chosen. Plot specifics are still being kept under wraps, and the lead actress’s name is still unknown.

As it became known that the production company, Pooja Entertainment, had not paid its actors and staff, Tiger Shroff offered to provide financial support to focus puller CH Ravi Kumar. Contributing to the film Mere Husband Ki Biwi, directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Vashu Bhagnani and son Jackky, Kumar had suffered an injury a few months prior and was having financial difficulties. Notably, Tiger starred in the Pooja Entertainment-produced film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.

The focus puller provided information regarding current occurrences to the website following press reports highlighting Pooja Entertainment’s neglect to pay its film workers, including Kumar. He was thankful and said, “It was really considerate of Tiger to come forward after learning about my situation. Tiger stepped in, but the producer hasn’t paid me yet. Yesterday, I spoke with his parents over the phone. When my brother was hurt while filming a movie many years ago, even Jackie Shroff, the star, came to his aid. Tiger’s act moved me, and I really appreciate the relief it brings. Despite not disclosing the exact amount he received from Tiger, Ravi Kumar stated that it was a sizeable sum in the “lakhs.”
