Vegan CJI Chandrachud Recalls PM Modi’s Covid Call: ‘There is a Vaidya Who…

The AYUSH Holistic Wellness Center was opened by Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud on Thursday on the Supreme Court’s grounds. In an interview with the news agency ANI, Chief Justice Chandrachud gave a first-hand account of how AYUSH—Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy—helped him fight COVID-19 and how Prime Minister Narendra Modi called him. I have been a part of AYUSH ever since the COVID-19 outbreak. I got a call from the prime minister saying, “I think you are over COVID. I hope all is well with you.” We’ll try our best; I know you’re not feeling well. “I’ll set up a call with a vaidya who works as a secretary at AYUSH, and he will send you medication and everything,” CJI Chandrachud remarked.

“When I had COVID, I got medication from AYUSH. He emphasized his belief in complementary and alternative therapies by saying, “The second and third times I had COVID, I didn’t take any allopathic medicine at all. Justice Chandrachud expressed worry for the health of all Supreme Court employees and emphasized the need to provide comprehensive healthcare to those outside of the judiciary. “I want them to have a holistic pattern of life,” he said, demonstrating his dedication to guaranteeing everyone’s overall well-being.
