Ayesha Takia Hits Back at Trolls with ‘Peasants’ Comment in Instagram Comeback Post
Ayesha Takia is back in the news, and this time it is because she has responded to criticism about her looks. An outburst of negativity on her feed – people saying they hardly recognized her lately, that she seemed to have gone under a plastic surgeon’s knife – got her to shut her account down. But now, she is back to social media, having let the comments pass, but only just.
Ayesha hits back at trolls
Recently, Ayesha shared an Instagram Story of a reel with a confident woman walking and saying, “Jealous? Darling, your maximum doesn’t even reach my minimum.” Many took this as a subtle yet powerful response to criticism leveled at her looks.
Past Criticisms
Ayesha is no stranger to dealing with online trolls. She took a note of discontentment earlier this year and spoke about a tragic time when she had to rush to Goa because a medical emergency arose within the family.
While she was concerned about her sister’s health, she faced the interruption by the paparazzi, and wondered why so much attention was being paid to her attire and looks rather thanto more important issues.
Ayesha expounded on her lack of interest in wanting back the limelight or making a comeback in films. She said, “I’m living my life happily, not interested in fame or films. Please feel free to not care about me at all.”
