As he stood at the edge of the platform, the Vida Karo singer could be seen in the video cutting his nails with a nail clipper while performing live. Many described the behavior as “extremely unprofessional.”

However, the singer was blind to the fact that Mahira Khan, an actor, was seated directly in front of them throughout the performance. Shortly after, the artist apologized and gave her a shout-out. The most recent song that Arijit Singh performed was Vida Karo from Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila. The titular Punjabi artist was shot dead, along with his pregnant wife, in the biographical drama that debuted on Netflix last month.
