AP Dhillon Breaks Silence on Shooting Outside His Canada Home: ‘My People Are Safe’

Recently, singer-rapper AP Dhillon spoke about a terrifying experience where shots were fired outside of his home in Canada. He updated his fans via Instagram Stories regarding the matter.

Dhillon let it be known that he and his team are safe thanks to the massive amount of love the singer has received in light of this terrifying incident. “I’m safe, my people are safe. Thank you to everyone who reached out to me. Your support means everything,” Dhillon wrote, posting, “Peace and love to all.

The shootout has been reportedly suspected to be connected with the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Earlier, Bishnoi had issued a threat to Indian actor Salman Khan and is a suspect in the recent threats and violence.

In a shocking turn of events, it was learned that gangster Rohit Godara had claimed responsibility for the attacks, including the one outside Dhillon’s residence.

The attacks have heightened tension in the region. According to Godara’s alleged statement, the shooting was in retaliation against the singer, Dhillon, for having collaborated with Salman Khan on a recent music video. He has reportedly issued death threats against the singer.

The timing of the incident is extraneous as it comes after Dhillon released a music video entitled “Old Money,” featuring Salman Khan, a tribute to the classic 90s Indian action movies.

Dhillon features in the performance of the video and has made his directorial debut in the same. The video inculcates themes of loyalty and authenticity, as Salman’s character saves Dhillon from goons and ends with a powerful message to “say no to violence,” promoting peace and using one’s talent as a force for good.

This incident finds an uncanny resemblance to the case of Salman Khan, in which a shooting happened outside his Mumbai home earlier this year. Lawrence Bishnoi led the claim to the attack, which resulted in a full throttle of security for the actor.
