Allu Arjun Arrested Following Woman’s Death in Pushpa 2 Screening Stamped

Telugu actor Allu Arjun has been taken into custody by Hyderabad Police about the stampede death of a lady during the December 4 premiere of his most recent movie, “Pushpa 2: The Rule.” The event happened when a sizable group of admirers flocked to Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre near RTC Crossroads to see the actor. Unfortunately, Revathi, 35, died in the stampede, and her son, 9, was hospitalized after suffocating.

Allu Arjun was arrested by a group of police from Hyderabad’s Chikkadpally police station after they showed up at his Jubilee Hills home. He was brought to the police station to be addressed and exposed to serious testing. As a result of the event, the relatives of the deceased filed a complaint under sections 105 and 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theater management.

The rush happened at the “Pushpa 2: The Rule” premiere on the evening of December 4. Revathi passed away from asphyxiation-related injuries while with her son Sri Teja. While receiving treatment for his wounds, Sri Teja is presently recuperating at the hospital. A second admirer, Harijana Madhannappa, 35, also passed away at a Pushpa 2 showing on Monday, which was an odd coincidence. After going to a matinee performance earlier in the day, Madhannappa was discovered dead at a Rayadurgam theater. He died while inebriated, and the reason of his death is being looked into by the authorities.

After the disaster, Allu Arjun petitioned the High Court to revoke the FIR and asked that all subsequent actions, including arrest, be halted until the case was resolved. The actor had previously declared that the family of the deceased woman, Revathi, will receive ₹25 lakh in financial support. The High Court is anticipated to hear the case in the next few days while the inquiry into Arjun’s, his security’s, and the theater management’s involvement in this regrettable occurrence continues.
