Alia Bhatt and Neetu Kapoor never cease to show how much they relate, and their recent social media exchanges have just proved the closeness they have reached. Alia, recently announced as the face of a leading global beauty brand, had her mother-in-law gush all over her with love. While Neetu Kapoor couldn’t hide her pride, she began the announcement on her Instagram Stories with a sweet message of “U are 100” that sent Alia into ecstasy.

Alia responded by resharing Neetu’s story and adding her note, addressing Neetu as her “beauty inspiration always and forever,” with a couple of pink heart emojis. Much as that speaks volumes about their warm equation, it does set some major goals for the quintessential saas-bahu.

4th September holds special importance for the Kapoors, as it is the birth anniversary of the late Rishi Kapoor. The most emotional tribute came from his wife, Neetu Kapoor, as she shared a throwback picture saying, “In remembrance, would have been 72 today.” The post spoke volumes about what Rishi had left behind.

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also remembered her father on social media. She wrote a heartwarming note, informing him how much she is missing him. “Happy Birthday Papa. How I wish you were here celebrating your special day with both your granddaughters,” she penned mentioning her daughter Samara and Alia and Ranbir’s little one, Raha. Riddhima added that Samara has grown up and baby Raha is the “cutest” and a “mini you.” She ended it by sharing how much she misses her daddy, adding their love for him only grows with each passing time.

On the professional front, Alia Bhatt is occupied with shooting for her next project Alpha from the YRF Spy Universe. The actress recently completed one schedule in Kashmir, where she was joined by her baby girl, Raha. Other than Alpha, Alia gears up for her action thriller Jigra, which also stars Vedang Raina and is scheduled to release on October 11.
