Aditya Narayan Concert Controversy: Angry Singer Hits Fan, Snatches Phone, and Throws It Away; Video Goes Viral

Aditya Narayan has drawn criticism for punching a concertgoer and chucking their phone out of the venue. Aditya held a concert in a Chhattisgarh college over the weekend, and a number of music enthusiasts were spotted there. Aditya was seen losing his cool over a fan in a video that went viral online, while singing to Aaj Ki Raat from Shah Rukh Khan’s film Don. Aditya seemed to be singing the song when he noticed that a fan was filming him perform.

It’s unclear what enraged Aditya, but it seemed like he struck the fan with his microphone. Before he could finish his performance, he grabbed the fan’s phone and tossed it into the crowd. The footage demonstrated how shocked the concertgoers were by his actions. Even many on social media expressed outrage at his response.

“What is Aditya Narayan’s problem? So conceited, and for what? Inconsiderate of his own supporters, a social media user said on X. His arrogance enrages me. Another said, “Bro actually hit the guy’s hand with his mic too.” Are you kidding me at this moment? Who believes that he is? What an asshole,” said a second. “I’ve supported him for a very long time. Not once more,” someone wrote.

Aditya had previously been in the headlines in Chhattisgarh due to a scandal. He got into a brawl with airport employees at the Raipur airport the last time he was in the state. A video of his altercation with airport employees went viral in 2017. In the now-famous video, he said, “Teri chaddi nahi utari na, to mera naam Aditya Narayan nahi.”
