Aamir Khan Reveals: Ex-Wife Reena Dutta Slapped, Bit His Hand During Labour: ‘Tried to Calm Her Down

Recently, when his ex-wife Reena Dutta went into labor, Aamir Khan talked about how he learned about human emotions. The actor talked candidly about his work and shared some memorable and humorous stories from his life during a recent appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show. One such instance occurred when Aamir’s ex-wife accidentally slapped him during her childbirth. When questioned about his observations of people’s behavior during his presentation, Aamir responded that he pays close attention to them, especially in odd circumstances. Let me give you an idea of what I noticed, he stated in a conversation with Kapil Sharma. Junaid’s birth was scheduled for that day. Labor had begun for Reena Ji. There we were, at the hospital. I also worked on my breathing techniques, being a nice husband. With that, I attempted to soothe her as the labor became more painful. But I received a slap and was told to stop talking rubbish after that. It hurt Reena Ji so much. I swear, she bit my hand.

“Later, I realized what was happening around me,” Aamir continued. One thing struck me while someone was in excruciating pain, similar to what mothers experience after childbirth. Not that I planned this. It is only occurring for me. I noticed that Reena’s face was contorting, which is not what we usually see when someone is in pain but rather what she looks like. A look of astonishment appears when the pain is severe. It’s incredulity. It is a denial of something. The depth of her pain was beyond her comprehension. That, as an actor, I noticed. When Reena brought Junaid home later, I told her this, and she became enraged! (laughs). Ira Khan and Junaid Khan, Aamir Khan, and Reena Dutta’s two children, are the product of their nearly 16-year marriage. In 1986, Reena Dutta and Aamir Khan got married. In 2002, they broke up. In 2005, the actor married Kiran Rao following it. Azad Rao, their son, is still co-parented by them after their 2021 separation.

Regarding his career, Aamir Khan is scheduled to return with Sitaare Zameen Par by RS Prasanna and Lahore: 1947 by Rajkumar Santoshi. While the actor will be producing his first film with Sunny Deol in the lead role, he will be appearing opposite Genelia D’Souza in the former.
