Pushpa 2: Second Allu Arjun Fan Dies During Screening, Police Launch Probe
Another unfortunate and coincidental situation occurred when a second Allu Arjun devotee passed away after a Pushpa 2: The Rule screening. Less than a week has passed since a female admirer died after the movie’s December 4 Bengaluru premiere. The latest tragedy took place in Andhra Pradesh on Monday when theater cleaning personnel discovered 35-year-old Harijana Madhannappa dead at about 6 PM. At the 2:30 PM screening of the movie in Rayadurgam, he had gone inebriated. Madhannappa was reportedly quite drunk, having taken alcohol both before and within the theater, but the authorities are still looking into the cause of death.
Ravi Babu, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) for Kalyandurgam, verified the information, saying, “The cleaning crew discovered him dead at approximately 6 PM following the matinee show, however, it is unclear when he passed away. In addition to having four children, he had a history of alcoholism. To look into the circumstances surrounding Madhannappa’s death, a complaint has been filed under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Act, Ravi Babu said.
Tragic events occurred earlier on December 4 at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad during the launch of Pushpa 2: The Rule. A female fan was killed in a stampede caused by Allu Arjun, co-star Rashmika Mandanna, and Arjun’s wife, Allu Sneha Reddy. Her son was critically ill and admitted to the hospital. Following the incident, the police detained Gandhakam Vijay Chander, the lower balcony in charge, senior manager M Nagaraju, and M Sandeep, one of the Sandhya Theatre’s proprietors.
