OpenAI Unveils Sora Turbo: Advanced Text-to-Video AI Model with Features and Pricing Details
OpenAI, the San Francisco-based startup that developed ChatGPT under Sam Altman, has introduced Sora Turbo, a quicker and more advanced version of Sora, the text-to-video artificial intelligence (AI) model that was first shown in February. OpenAI has created new user interfaces to facilitate prompting Sora Turbo using text, photos, and videos. Users may now create films with a maximum length of 20 seconds and a quality of 1080p. Using the “Remix” function, users may replace, delete, or reimagine components in their video. They can also select and isolate the best frames and stretch them in either direction to finish a scene using the “Re-cut” option.
The ” Storyboard ” function allows users to arrange and modify distinctive video segments on their own timeline. The “Loop” feature cuts down and produces smooth, repeating clips. Presets lets users create and share styles to spark creativity, while Blend merges two movies into a seamless clip.

Users who have Plus or Pro accounts with ChatGPT can access Sora Turbo. The Plus plan is priced at $20 a month (about ₹1,700), while the Pro plan is $200 a month (around ₹17,000). The AI tool is free of charge and part of these programs. The Pro Plan provides longer durations, sharper resolutions, and ten times more usage. OpenAI plans to launch customized pricing for different user groups early next year. Nevertheless, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the European Union do not presently have access to Sora Turbo.
