Vikrant Massey Quits Acting: Box Office Collection of His Last Film The Sabarmati Report
Vikrant Massey’s announcement that he will be retiring from acting at the age of 37 startled his admirers early on Monday morning. Following the box office reception of his most recent picture, The Sabarmati Report, which was directed by Dheeraj Sarna, the announcement was made. The film’s performance has been likened to Vikrant’s breakthrough smash 12th Fail (2023), which turned into a sleeper hit, despite being a noteworthy accomplishment. Based on the inspirational true tale of a UPSC candidate, 12th Fail made ₹56.38 crore at the Indian box office and drew crowds even after movie was made available digitally on Disney+ Hotstar.
Vikrant featured in the criminal thriller Section 36, which was made available on Netflix India immediately, in between 12th Fail and The Sabarmati Report.

Vikrant thanked his supporters for their support in an emotional post on Instagram on Monday morning. “The past few years and beyond have been phenomenal,” he wrote. I want to thank everyone for their unwavering support (namaste emoji). But as time goes by, I realize it’s time to return home and reassess. as a father, a husband, and a son. as an actor as well.

Vikrant declared that 2025 will be his last year in the motion picture business, saying, “We would meet up one last time in 2025.” till the appropriate moment. The last two films and years of recollections. Once again, thank you. For all things and everything in between (emoji of a crimson heart). Indebted forever (emoji of a red heart). Before he retires from performing, the actor will make his last performances in Yaar Jigri and Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan.
