Eknath Shinde, the temporary chief minister of Maharashtra, met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda following the election. The meeting was described as “good and positive” despite ongoing speculation on the chief ministerial nominee of the Mahayuti alliance.
Decision Pending for CM’s Post
After the discussion, Shinde told reporters that a meeting in Mumbai would probably be held to make the final decision about the Chief Minister’s stance. “The meeting went well and was constructive. The first meeting was this one. We spoke with JP Nadda and Amit Shah on…There will be another Mahayuti gathering. “A decision regarding the Chief Minister will be made in this meeting,” Shinde stated.
Shinde Emphasizes Unity, Calls Himself ‘Ladla Bhai’
In a previous statement to the media, Shinde emphasized his self-proclaimed title of “Ladla Bhai” and reaffirmed that there were no obstacles to the chief ministerial position. “In the press conference yesterday, I clarified that there are no barriers of the Mahayuti Chief Minister. Shinde said, “This ‘ladla bhai’ has come to Delhi, and to me, the title is more important than anything else.”
BJP to Finalize CM Pick Soon
At a conference of MLAs anticipated Saturday in Mumbai, the BJP, the primary accomplice in the Mahayuti alliance, is expected to pick its contender for the Central Pastor’s post.
Devendra Fadnavis Dismisses Speculation of Rift
Devendra Fadnavis, the top of the BJP, guaranteed that the alliance would stay brought together and that significant figures would be counseled before a choice was made about the Chief Minister. There has never been a disagreement inside our Mahayuti coalition. Historically, we have always decided as a group. We made it clear before the polls that, following the outcome, a collaborative decision will be made on the Chief Minister’s position,” Fadnavis explained.

Mahayuti Alliance Secures Victory
