Bollywood director Karan Johar, who is renowned for his glitz and lively social style, recently shared snippets of his most recent Diwali party ensemble on Instagram. But what really grabbed everyone’s attention was his sincere caption. The 52-year-old director stated that even though he sees many of his old acquaintances during festivities, he still feels “alone” and questions when he will no longer be single.

In Devnagari, Karan wrote, “Diwali ki raate, itni mulakaate, itni saari baatein, bheed mein fir bhi tanhai, single status se kab hogi judaai” (Diwali nights, meeting so many familiar faces, in the crowd there is still a sense of loneliness, when will I get rid of the single status)” as his caption.

Karan wore an eye-catching emerald ring with a striking black suit that had gold threadwork on the shoulders for the Diwali celebration. He suggested introspection amidst the celebrations by including the well-known Kishore Kumar song Kuch Toh Log Kahenge from Amar Prem with the pictures.
