Did Salman Khan Play an ‘Adhed Businessman’ Opposite Alia Bhatt in Inshallah? Here’s What She Reveals!
Inshallah, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, has been on hold for five years, yet the film still has problems. It was originally intended to be a romance film starring Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt when Inshallah was first announced in 2019. The film was stalled, however, reportedly due to creative differences between the two actors. Inshallah was a love story centered on her and Salman’s characters, Alia Bhatt acknowledged in a recent interview while promoting her new movie Jigra on Lallantop. “No, not to my knowledge,” she said in response to a question concerning the movie’s present state. I’m working on Love and War, another movie with Sanjay sir.
“I hope Bhansali will make Inshallah,” Alia said, describing it as a “wonderful story.” In response to the interviewer’s statement that Salman will play a “adhed (middle-aged) businessman,” Alia chuckled uncomfortably and said, “Oh! I will not comment on that. She went on to call the movie a “lovely love story.” “Hero badalna padega, creative difference kaafi hogae” (the hero would need to be changed due to too many creative differences) was the interviewer’s suggestion when discussing the film’s challenges. “Whatever Sanjay sir determines will be best for the movie,” Alia retorted.

Salman Khan has earlier stated that he wanted Bhansali to make the movie he had in mind, despite the obstacles Inshallah had to overcome. “Even before we started working on Khamoshi, Sanjay was a friend,” he said, underscoring their ongoing bond. I thought this movie he showed me was good, so we decided to collaborate once more. Sanjay won’t do gaddaari with his film, that much is certain. I want him to produce the movie he desires. As friends, we remain the same, and I have no doubt that Sanjay still feels the same way about me. I’m sure we’ll work together once more in the future, inshallah, and I wish him the best.
