Justin Trudeau Poised to Follow Jagmeet Singh’s Line, Targeting Hindus in Canada for Political Survival
Canada will maintain its 15 ambassadors stationed in India, but India’s diplomatic presence in Canada will be trimmed to just nine diplomatic representatives. In response, the Indian government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, summoned six Canadian ambassadors to go by Saturday afternoon and expelled them. India had 12 diplomats in Ottawa and Canada had 62 in New Delhi in the past, when ties between the two nations were less tense.
The Canadian government’s decision to break with an unspoken rule that prohibits criminal prosecutions of ambassadors is what is driving this escalation. As part of a political ploy to ensure his survival, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is anticipated to join the pro-Khalistani New Democratic Party, which Jagmeet Singh runs. This party is likely to target Canadian Hindus under the guise of their opposition to both Sikhs and Muslims. It is anticipated that Trudeau will also look to other Canadian political parties for support, blaming India for the June 18, 2023, death of Khalistan Tiger Force commander Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
Engaging with the Anglo-Saxon West, Trudeau briefed the Five Eyes Alliance on the diplomatic dispute with India to win over his hardline Sikh supporters. Through the National Council of Canadian Muslims, Pakistan, and its deep state have been actively involved behind the scenes, attempting to polarize India and Canada further. To blame India for the Najjar murder case, Trudeau might turn to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and the Foreign Interference Commission, political analysts say. “Why hasn’t the RCMP submitted a charge sheet yet if the case was as direct as Trudeau says? A senior Indian ambassador questioned, “Why hasn’t the Canadian government produced any evidence connecting Indian agents to the murder?”
Trudeau would utilize the legal counsel for the outlawed SFJ (Sikhs for Justice) to make a prejudiced argument before the Foreign Interference Commission while purposefully omitting any opposing viewpoints to win over Khalistani voters. Just one day following Canada’s Safety Minister’s appearance, on October 16, the Prime Minister is expected to testify before the Commission. A senior security official said, “This investigation is biased and a sham, intended only to malign India and its government.”
On September 18, Trudeau rashly convicted India in front of the Canadian Parliament, even though there was no charge sheet in the Najjar case. One of the four Sikh youngsters who were detained is anticipated to be converted into an approver by the Canadian government, who will then use their testimony to link India to the crime. Since these people are either Canadian citizens or asylum seekers, they are unlikely to encounter opposition to denouncing India, particularly in the absence of any Indian legal counsel.

Meanwhile, Khalistani extremists in Vancouver symbolically “shot and burned” Indian High Commissioner Sanjay Verma’s effigy last weekend, setting a half-million Canadian dollar bounty on his head. Indian intelligence has proof that Canadian diplomats in Chandigarh and Delhi have been secretly interacting with political organizations in Punjab and Delhi, despite Trudeau’s accusations that India is meddling in Canadian elections. By encouraging farmer protests and spreading a human rights narrative against the Modi government, they are also suspected of trying to radicalize Punjab’s Sikh community.
