Triptii Dimri Reveals Parents Were Warned ‘She’ll Get Spoiled’ After Moving to Mumbai
Triptii Dimri, who debuted in Bollywood with Laila Majnu, gained widespread recognition recently for her outstanding performance in the Ranbir Kapoor film Animal.
She has had difficulties along the way to fame, though. Triptii discussed the doubts she encountered from her own family members when she made the decision to pursue a career in movies in an open discussion on Katrina Kaif’s Kay Beauty YouTube channel.
Triptii, a native of Uttarakhand who was reared in Delhi, revealed that her family was worried about her unusual choice of profession.
She discussed the difficulties she encountered while relocating to Mumbai in order to pursue her Bollywood goals. Although my family still resides in Delhi, where I was born and raised, my native state is Uttarakhand.
I found it difficult to adjust to life in Bombay (Mumbai). I had to enter rooms every day that held between fifty and sixty individuals.
My parents’ choice to allow me pursue a career in film was questioned by a few of my relatives and even by members of the general public.
They made comments along the lines of, “Why did you send your daughter to work in this field?” She’ll get conceited, associate with the wrong people, make poor decisions, and no one will want to marry her.
Triptii persisted in her resolve in spite of other people’s skepticism and discouragement. She experienced periods of disorientation, particularly during periods when she was unemployed.
She was determined not to give up and return to her parents empty-handed, though. She thought back on her difficulties and remarked, “I couldn’t go back to my parents and say, ‘I didn’t make it.’”
Eventually, Triptii’s diligence paid off. After her breakthrough performance in Laila Majnu, which was recently re-released and did more at the box office than during its original run, her parents were pleased of her.
Triptii is incredibly appreciative that she became the “national crush” after Animal. In her words, “In my experience, I’ve been blessed,” she thanked everyone.
The public has always shown me a lot of love and support, whether it was for one of my earlier movies or one of my more recent endeavors. People have discussed and acknowledged my work.
In the near future, Triptii will appear in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video with Rajkummar Rao. Regarding her personal life, she is frequently seen with her purported lover, Sam Merchant. She was allegedly dating Anushka Sharma’s brother in the past.
Triptii has persevered despite all the highs and lows, using the doubt as fuel for her ambition and proving her detractors wrong in each part she has played.
