Malaika Arora’s Father Anil Arora Dies by Suicide; Ex-Husband Arbaaz Khan Visits Family Home

According to news agency , Anil Arora, the father of Malaika and Amrita Arora, passed away by suicide. The two are in grief. He apparently leaped off a terrace, which is when the event happened. His daughters Malaika and Amrita, as well as their mother Joyce Polycarp, survive him.

Mumbai Police were on the site, according to report on Wednesday. Police officers and members of the media were gathered outside the family home. The circumstances of his passing are still being revealed.

Malaika’s ex-husband, actor-producer Arbaaz Khan, was spotted showing up at her family’s Mumbai house to lend his support.

An important part of Malaika Arora’s family history is her personal past. When she was eleven years old, her parents got divorced, and she moved to Chembur with her mother and sister.

Her late father, Anil Arora, was a Punjabi Hindu from Fazilka who served in the Indian Merchant Navy. Joyce Polycarp, her mother, is a Malayali Christian.

In a previous interview, Malaika discussed how her mother’s fortitude and her parents’ divorce affected her sense of independence and her career path.

Malaika’s sister Amrita Arora has two boys with businessman Shakeel Ladak, whom she married in 2009.

After 19 years of marriage, Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan got divorced in 2017. Malaika was once linked to actor Arjun Kapoor, but it appears that they have broken up. Arbaaz is currently wed to makeup artist Sshura Khan. Arhaan, Malaika and Arbaaz’s son, was born in 2002.
