Amitabh Bachchan Reacts with Laughter to KBC 16 Contestant’s Question About Jaya Bachchan: ‘Yeh Parivarik Prashn…’

In the recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, a contestant, Sumitra Dinesh, got Amitabh Bachchan into a humorous and introspective moment when she asked him how he shared time with his wife, Jaya Bachchan. The legendary actor, who tied the knot with Jaya in June 1973, couldn’t help laughing at the question, touching on his busy schedule with the show.

Amitabh candidly replied, “Oho kya bataye? Yeh joh parivarik prashn puch lete hai na log yaha aake.usmei humko bada kasht hota hai” (What should I say? It gets difficult for me to answer a question related to my family). He remembered the time when he was shooting for a few films together and hardly had any time to devote to his family.

He once said in an interview, “When I came into this industry some many years ago, I had a very hectic schedule. I would work in three shifts: from 7 AM to 2 PM on one film, 2 PM to 10 PM on another, and then from 10 PM to 6 AM on the third film.” All for this tight schedule, he hardly got time to spend at home.

Amitabh also remembered a heart-touching moment with his late father Harivansh Rai Bachchan when he once told him, “Bole beta tum kaam bahut karte hoh” meaning Son, you work too much. Amitabh said he replied “Paisa badi mushkil se milta hai” meaning Money is hard to come by. In the midst of all busy schedules, Amitabh thanked his wife Jaya for being such a motivating factor during those hectic days.

The host of Kaun Banega Crorepati since its beginning in the year 2000, except the third season which Shah Rukh Khan hosted; Amitabh recently welcomed viewers to Season 16 on Sony TV. ” Grateful for the love and affection showered upon this show by viewers across, I welcome you to this Season 16, ” he said in the season inauguration.
