Stree 2 Success Party: A Star-Studded Celebration as the Film Crosses Rs 300 Crore Globally

The story is not very different with Stree 2 as well, as it has come about as a box office sensation globally, crossing the Rs 300 crore mark. The makers of the film, with their ensemble casting, organized a grand success party where the who’s who of the film industry were present. Postscreening night, laughter, happiness, and heartfelt appreciation prevailed for the hard work behind making Stree 2 a massive hit.

Actress Nimrat Kaur, one among the galaxy present at the party, took to social media sharing inside glimpses of the bash through her pictures along with Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Tamannah Bhatia, director Amar Kaushik, among others. Nimrat shared her love for the team by saying, “LOVE BOMBING RED ALERT #Stree2 has felt like a personal victory from the first day, first show I caught at the theatre. As a die-hard fan of this horror-comedy multiverse, here’s celebrating the loveliest, gorgeous supergirl Shraddha Kapoor, the forever perplexingly brilliant Rajkummar Rao, the man of the moment, director extraordinaire Amar Kaushik, ethereally stunning Tamannaah Bhatia, endlessly gifted Pankaj Tripathi ji, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana and all the others whose blood, sweat, and tears have gone into making this mammoth success.

She shared in-stories from the party where the Stree 2-themed cake was and an iconic dialogue: “Woh Stree hai, woh Kuch bhi kar sakte hai.” The cake and celebration fructify the essence and success of the movie, with Shraddha Kapoor, Dinesh Vijan, and Vicky Kaushal being part of the celebration.

The crux is here: Stree 2, as it is a sequel, faces the expectations of living up to the success of the previous entrant in 2018, one that had crafted a mix of horror and comedy hitherto unparalleled and audiences quite rapt. It is set in Chanderi, a small town in Madhya Pradesh, and there seems to be a ghost by the name of Stree who kidnaps all the men folk from the town during the season of festivals. The sequel picks up the edgy narrative where it left off and introduces another demon who is kidnapping women left, right, and center, with the townspeople running to Stree for help.

A Maddock Films production, produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande, Stree 2 will be part of Maddock’s expanding Supernatural universe, which also includes Varun Dhawan starrer Bhediya and Munjya with Sharvari and Abhay Verma in lead.
