Amitabh Bachchan Gets Emotional: ‘Feels So Helpless’ Discussing KBC Contestants’ Struggles

In his most recent blog entry, Amitabh Bachchan spoke of feeling “helpless.” The actor talked up about the challenges of the candidates he was encountering after returning from the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati and giving information about the upcoming season. Behind-the-scenes photos from the KBC sets were released by Big B, who also mentioned that he has been seeing some heartwarming tales from the candidates who are on the hot seat. Even if they face challenges, he continued, he admires their constant smiles as they sit on the hotseat.

On the blog, he wrote, “Some new and interesting changes in the game, the impact it will have, and the lessons learned… but most importantly, the ’emotions’ that overwhelm us all when the contestant in front of us tells their story.” —the terrible circumstances they exist in and then the volume of their years of distress —and suddenly they find themselves here on the ‘garam kursi’ and they get taken up by the emotion of the moment.”

The state of these men’s and women’s lives, which are in front of millions of people who see their hardships and years and years of conflict, is extremely heartbreaking, and it makes one feel extremely powerless. May the Almighty grant them all the strength He can bestow upon those who struggle and set an example.. and teach a lesson to these,” Amitabh wrote in his post’s conclusion. “When victory comes in the shape of the success at the ‘hot seat.'”

It has been several weeks since the start of the new Kaun Banega Crorepati season. The launch date hasn’t been disclosed by the creators, though.
